Since 2001, Clearwave Recording Studio has been a sanctuary for the creative spirit. Sessions at Clearwave are private, focused, and fun — the kind of sessions where ideas come to life and performances find their magic. This isn’t a museum, a recording school, or a studio in some weird guy’s house. It’s a freestanding converted warehouse tucked away in Decatur, Alabama — close to area bars, barbecue joints, and a place for bands to crash when the night runs long.

Inside, the studio feels lived-in and inspiring. You can feel the ghosts of great players who came before, chasing the same thing. It smells like tubes, tape, and exotic instruments — instruments that invite you to pick one up and see what happens.

The space is designed to record bands live for that raw, electrifying feel, or one instrument at a time when precision matters. The gear rests on a juicy analog foundation, supported by the digital tools one would expect from any modern studio.
